Formación para el impulso de la transformación socioemocional en contextos de exclusión educativa: Manual facilitador

Transformar-nos is a framework for educational transformation based on socio-emotional learning, developed thanks to a cooperative alliance between the former Regional Bureau for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean (OREALC/UNESCO Santiago), now the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Súmate Foundation. This framework encourages the creation of collective transformation processes through socio-emotional learning, aiming to give educational centres a leading role in promoting a more supportive, diverse, and inclusive society.
Guided by this mission, the training design detailed in this is based on a competency-oriented professional training approach. This means that the training is organised to create opportunities for addressing relevant conceptual elements, integrating chances to practise and strengthen the key skills needed to mobilise and sustain the transformation processes proposed by Transformar-nos over time. This training approach is reflected in both the sequence in which the work modules are organised and the proposed frequency for implementing these modules, thereby promoting opportunities for situated reflection and practising skills in authentic contexts. Additionally, each thematic unit combines conceptual elements with activities that encourage collective reflection based on educators' experiences, aiming to foster favourable attitudes towards educational transformation through socio-emotional learning.
The training process detailed in this Facilitator's Manual is complemented by the document . This is a tool that supports the development of activities and provides a space for each participant to document the change process, compiling information, records, and evidence that allow them to make decisions as a community.
