EFFICACE Project

The EFFICACE project (Girls' Education, Initial and In-Service Teacher Training and Support for the Continuity of Education) aims to operationalize the reform of the pedagogical humanities and to set up a hybrid system of in-service teacher training, combining face-to-face and online, in which school heads will play a central role. The project also plans to encourage more women to become teachers in the teaching profession.

Funded by the GPE (Global Partnership for Education) to the tune of US$9 million, the four-year project also aims to strengthen the training of 15,000 teachers and improve the quality of education in the country.
