Point of VIew
Overview of the organization
Point of View is a non-profit founded in Mumbai in 1996, just after the Internet had come to India. Restrictive gender norms flow onground and online, limiting the freedoms of women and gender minorities. While many initiatives counter patriarchy onground, few do so online. We aim to fill this gap by empowering women, girls, and gender minorities to shape and inhabit digital spaces. Imagine a world where all genders and sexualities are free and equal - that¡¯s what we¡¯re building.
