Motivated by a desire to move beyond the theoretical environment of academia and immerse herself in practical fieldwork Tinhinane joined the first cohort of the UNESCO Kingdoms Institute Fellowship Programme in AlUla There she engaged with the local community to study the traditional earthen homebuilding techniques unique to the region
