La colección SERVOL del Padre Gerard Pantin, 1970-2014
SERVOL (Service Volunteered for All), es un proyecto integrado de desarrollo humano que tiene como objetivo lograr un cambio social y de actitud, particularmente entre niños y adultos jóvenes en situaciones vulnerables a través del empoderamiento individual y comunitario.
Fundado en Trinidad y Tobago, como método y filosofía de autoayuda "cada uno enseña a uno", SERVOL ha sido adoptado con éxito a nivel regional en más de 15 estados del Caribe e internacionalmente en países como Holanda, Sudáfrica y Nigeria. El fundador y director de SERVOL fue el educador y humanitario Padre Gerard "Gerry" Pantin (1928-2014), quien recibió el Premio Nobel Alternativo de Suecia, The Right Livelihood Award, por su trabajo en nombre de SERVOL en 1994. En 1993, la UNESCO reconoció a SERVOL como uno de los veinte mejores proyectos del mundo.
