
Lidia has professional experience as a consultant, educator, researcher and project manager in over 60 countries. Her portfolio focuses on strategy, policy, entrepreneurship, innovation, organizational development, capacity building and online technologies, with a special emphasis on arts, culture and creative industries. Lidia is a regular visiting professor at prominent universities internationally, among them the University of Arts, Belgrade and Sibelius Academy, Finland. She has received a number of distinguished academic and research awards, among them: the 鈥淒ragan Klaic鈥 European Award for excellence in teaching, FULBRIGHT Fellowship, Japan Foundation Fellowship, and NATO Fellowship. Her key books are Strategic Management in the Arts (2012), and International Entrepreneurship in the Arts (2016), published by Routledge (New York/London). Lidia is an internationally acclaimed conference speaker and coach, and an active member of several professional networks. Lidia is currently a full-time Professor and Director of the MA Program in Management of Performing Arts and Industries at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is the Project Leader for NATFIZ of two European projects 鈥 EMPACT (co-financed by the Creative Europe programme) and IN SITU: Place-based Innovations of Cultural and Creative Industries in Non-Urban Ares, funded by the EU Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
