Description of the policy/measure
The nigerian cultural and creative industries, especially in the areas of the visual and performing arts, craft, fashion design, film making and video production have grown steadily.  undertake an assessment of nigeria’s craft industry and develop mechanism for strengthening craftsmanship, productivity and enterprise opportunities; promote teaching of arts and crafts and the performing arts at all levels of the educational system; encourage the patronage of made-in-nigeria textiles and designs at local and international levels; establish strategic arts and crafts markets at the federal, state and local government levels; enforce laws protecting intellectual property rights
