Mid-term programme for development assistance and humanitarian aid of the republic of bulgaria for the period 2016-2019
Description of the policy/measure
The thematic and sectoral areas of development assistance are tailored to the needs of the partners, with the existing experience, expertise and resources of the bulgarian party, as well as with the current cooperation under the development policy. the availability of good governance and respect for human rights in the partner country will be taken into account as well.

Bulgaria aims to develop the administrative capacity of the cultural sector in partner countries, including participation in international cultural cooperation for the development of local cultural potential and the use of culture and cultural heritage as a strategic resource for sustainable development.
Financial resources allocated to the policy
According to the estimated budgetary indicators, development assistance under thematic priority 鈥減rotection of cultural diversity鈥 will be provided as follows: 2016: bgn 500,000; 2017: bgn 600,000; 2018: bgn 700,000; 2019: bgn 700,000.
