Providing funding and space for civil society organizations
Description of the policy/measure
Each year, the ministry of culture and youth allocates a portion of its annual budget to support civil society organizations, to fund their operational costs and support their activities. in addition, the ministry has 8 cultural centers located across the country each with theatres and/or halls that are available for use by cultural non-profit organizations. finally, cultural associations are invited to represent the uae and share elements of uae cultural heritage such as dance, music, cuisine, and poetry as part of cultural exchange programs with other countries.
