Auction Notice: UNESCO sealed-bid auction in Almaty, Kazakhstan

Sealed bids are to be addressed to the almaty@unesco.org email box before the closing date and time. Auction reference number AUC/2024/01 shall be indicated in the subject line. Offers submitted after the closing deadline will not be considered.
Complete set of Auction Documents including vehicle information, free of charge, can be requested by sending an email to a.shomanova@unesco.org with the Auction reference number AUC/2024/01 indicated in the subject line.
Vehicle is Not Customs Cleared and perspective successful buyers will need to comply with local legislation concerning registration of the purchased vehicles. Vehicle is available for bidding as Lots 1 and will be sold to the highest bidder. The vehicle will be sold on an 鈥榓s is where is鈥 basis only. Viewing can only be undertaken during working hours: Monday 鈥 Friday 10:00-17:00 at the following location: UN Plaza, 303, Baizakov str., Almaty. Contact person for viewing is Akhat Baiburinov, +7 777 428 25 62. The deadline for viewing is Friday, 13 November 2024 at 17:00.
Any bids received in any other form than the one provided by UNESCO in the Auction Documents package will be rejected. No bids will be received after Thursday 14 November 2024 at 23:59 Almaty time. Bidding is free of any charge whatsoever. The sale of the vehicle is subject to a 鈥渞eserve price鈥. After tabulation of the received offers, if the reserved price has been received, UNESCO will contact the highest bidder and offer him/her the purchase of the vehicle as per his/her offered price. The highest bidder must pay the full amount of their bid within five (5) working days after having been contacted by UNESCO and declared the highest bidder. The bank details for payment shall be provided by UNESCO in due course. All arrangements related to ownership and collection of the vehicle must be made by the Buyer. The Buyer is required to cover all subsequent costs related to customs and other applicable taxes and duties according to Kazakhstan legislation.
