Building in-house capacities in support of key reforms in Member States
12:00-12:45 in the Partnerships Hub (Halle Saxe)
A high-potential and strategic cooperation was established by the UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab (IPL) with the EC’s Directorate-General for Structural Reform (DG REFORM). This is a UNESCO-first and novel partnership which brings high-programmatic value not only for the Social and Human Sciences Sector, but also across UNESCO. Only in its first year, the cooperation brought three critical projects to support demand-driven, critical and concrete reforms at the Member States.
Panellists will discuss the overall cooperation and the three projects, with a focus on the IPL multi-country project on building in-house consulting capacities in 7 Member States and the project on AI supervision in Netherlands.
This session will be conducted in English.
Speakers:
- Ms Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for the Social and Human Sciences, UNESCO - Moderator
- Ms Nathalie Berger, Director for Support to Member State Reforms, DG REFORM, European Commission
- Mr Mario Nava, Director General, DG REFORM, European Commission
