Call for Expressions of Interest: Strengthening capacities of media to provide professional, conflict-sensitive online coverage of peace issues at national level in Bosnia and Herzegovina (Extended deadline: 24 July 2023)

The UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, through its “Social Media for Peace” project, is looking for an organisation/institution to coordinate trainings of media professionals on conflict-sensitive reporting and data journalism to sensitise media professionals and other stakeholders on peacebuilding initiatives.

Under the overall supervision of the Head of the UNESCO Antenna in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the direct supervision of the National Project Officer - Social Media 4 Peace, we are looking for a consultant/organisation to provide trainings of selected media professionals on data journalism to design, implement, track, evaluate and measure the impact of initiatives and policies to promote peace, and to provide trainings on fact-checking.

The contract shall work within the framework of ensuring strengthened capacities of media to provide professional, conflict-sensitive online coverage of peace issues at national level in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Deadline: Prospective applicants are required to send their application (proposal, with references to similar projects and activities, and financial offer) to UNESCO by 19 June 2023 (Midnight, CET).
