Director-General on Official Visit to Egypt
During her official visit to Egypt on 11 March 2013, the Director-General of UNESCO, Irina Bokova, met with the Prime Minister of Egypt Dr Hisham Qandeel, the Minister of Education, Mr Ibrahim Ghoneim, the Minister of Higher Education, Mr Mostafa Mosaad and the Minister of Culture, Mr Mohamed Saber Arab.
Irina Bokova will also have bilateral meetings with a number Ministers in the Organization鈥檚 fields of competence, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr Mohamed Kamel Amr the Minister of Communication and Information Technology, Mr Atef Naguib and the Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, Mr Mohamed Ibrahim Ali Sayed.
The Director-General is accompanied during her visit by H.E. Mr Mohamed Sameh Amr, Ambassador, Permanent Delegate of Egypt to UNESCO.
