Ensuring effective distance learning during COVID-19 disruption- Guidance for teachers (in Farsi)

School closures were mandated as part of public health efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19 in most countries. As a result, education systems faced unprecedented challenges during the last years. Governmental agencies have been working with different organizations to deliver education remotely through a mix of technologies in order to ensure continuity of curriculum-based study and learning for all. The effectiveness of distance learning strategies is conditioned by various types of preparedness. This include technological readiness, the readiness of curricular courses, and pedagogical and home-based learning support. After, teachers are in the frontline to design and facilitate learning activities, monitor students’ home-based distance learning process and adjust their learning management accordingly.

This guideline aims to help teachers understand key issues related to home-based distance learning during COVID-19 school closures and design and facilitate effective learning activities. It includes resources, examples, and tips to teachers and educators from pre-primary to upper-secondary level.
