Femina Vox, voices for women’s rights

Under the patronage of UNESCO and in partnership with Global Peace Education Network on the occasion of the International Women's Day.

Organized by Dr Guila Clara Kessous, UNESCO Artist for Peace, Ambassador for Peace of the Universal Circle of Ambassadors of Peace (Geneva) this online conference focuses on women's rights voices and their lack of resonance around the world in terms of rights, society or politics.

In link with United Nations’ theme of 2024 “Invest in women: Accelerate progress”.

This series of interventions opened by Dr. Guila Clara Kessous intends to be an expression of solidarity, in order to defend these women’s rights and to reaffirm the initiatives essential to their unconditional recognition.

Women need to have access to exactly the same rights as men, not as women, but as human beings. The recognition of those women’s rights will only be achieved together in a side-by-side fight, men and women united to finally build the society of tomorrow.
