Gaia Education Answering a Global Call
Gaia Education is running its first Training of Trainers (ToT) programme in Forres, Northern Scotland, at the end of June.
The ToT is answering an international growing demand for qualified ESD educators and facilitators to conduct our capacity building programmes taking place in 41 countries in settings ranging from tribal and traditional communities to intentional ecovillages, from urban slum settings to universities and R&D centers.
Gaia Education certified facilitators and trainers will be equipped with the skills and methodologies to facilitate learning environments for putting students on the path that leads out of the map and into the territory of sustainable living while leading more joyful, meaningful and healthier lives.
The Training of Trainers is built in three modules:
- Sustainable Development Goals- Negotiating Tensions between Global and Local
- Facilitating Participatory Learning Journeys
- Deepening the Edge Work
