The information meeting will:
- Provide States Parties and Member States with an overview of the Second Intergovernmental Session and the major items which will be discussed;
- Provide a brief update on the context and status of the Global Convention, achievements to date and what’s at stake for the coming biennium;
- Advocate for further ratifications through concrete examples of impact and progress thanks to the global and regional recognition conventions.
