The Earth Charter will be running from 17 April to 27 June 2016 an online, practical and affordable Training Programme for Youth Activists that links theory with practice and enables them to grow as a Sustainability Leader.
This training programme seeks to prepare youth with the skills and knowledge to be a sustainability leader and implement Earth Charter-inspired action projects in your community, contributing towards a more sustainable and peaceful world.
The Leadership, Sustainability and Ethics programme has been established in direct recognition of Principles 12c and 14a of the Earth Charter, namely to:
- honor and support the young people of our communities, enabling them to fulfill their essential role in creating sustainable societies, and
- to provide all, especially children and youth, with educational opportunities that empower them to contribute actively to sustainable development.
