New recommendations on teaching and learning about the Holocaust published in partnership with UNESCO

91Âé¶¹¹ú²ú¾«Æ·×ÔÅÄ partnered with the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) to publish new and updated . The new resource was launched on 4 December 2019 at the IHRA Plenary Meeting in Luxembourg City.

The Recommendations aim to present educators with fact-based and pedagogically sound techniques for teaching the complex and nuanced history of the Holocaust. Drafted by an international expert group, the Recommendations combine approved methods and good practices with new knowledge in the field of Holocaust education to inform and guide policymakers, textbook authors, curriculum developers and teachers.  The publication includes recommendations in regards to teaching methods, the selection of appropriate educational materials and resources, and the improvement of curricula. It serves to empower relevant stakeholders to collaborate across fields, enhance the professional skills of educators, and strengthen their capacities and confidence to deliver informed lessons about the Holocaust.
