On 3 and 4 June, Ms Saniye G眉lser Corat, UNESCO鈥檚 Director for Gender Equality, implemented a Gender Equality for in Hamburg upon request from the Institute.

Twenty-two colleagues participated in this mandatory training, which allowed them to better understand the concepts of Gender Equality and the methodologies and tools used by UNESCO to integrate Gender Equality considerations in its initiatives. Accompanied by Mr Damiano Giampaoli, Ms Corat and also held Gender Clinics for the different departments and units of UIL. These one-to-one meetings aim at providing support in designing gender transformative programmes throughout UNESCO鈥檚 activities and areas of operation.
