Regional forum: Education beyond borders, regional solidarity towards the right to education
In its third edition, this forum seeks to recognize the progress and actions undertaken by different countries and educational actors to provide an articulated response and guarantee the full exercise of the right to education. It is an opportunity to share different experiences in solidarity, in order to reflect on the lessons learned and evaluate their potential for adaptation and scalability in different contexts.

This meeting is part of the regional component of Education Cannot Wait's Multi-Year Resilience Program (MYRP) and is generously supported by the Regional Education Group and the Government of Canada.
The forum is being held in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education of Colombia and the Secretariat of Education of Barranquilla, and will take place at the Universidad del Norte in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia.
Objectives
- To present the regional and national strategies concerning the right to education of people on the move.
- To identify areas of cooperation to assess the learning outcomes of student on the move.
- To provide significant information and evidence to strengthen regional coordination and cooperation mechanisms to guarantee the right to education of people on the move.
Expected outcomes
- Ministries of education technical teams share initiatives and policies implemented to guarantee the right to education of people on the move.
- Civil society and international cooperation organizations share good practices and opportunities for the educational inclusion of people on the move.
- LAC Ministers of Education commit to progress in a set of priority areas, defining actions and necessary partners
