Renaud Capuçon's vibrant tribute to the Victims of the Holocaust

On January 27, 2021, the United Nations and UNESCO jointly organized a series of events, in partnership with the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance a series of events to mark the 76th anniversary of the liberation of the camp German Nazi concentration and extermination center at Auschwitz-Birkenau.
On this occasion, Renaud Capuçon accompanied by the pianist Guillaume Bellom, delivered a moving tribute to the survivors of the Holocaust and the victims of Nazi persecution.

This commemoration comes as anti-Semitism, including denial and distortion of the facts about the Holocaust, is on the rise around the world, with devastating consequences for individuals, communities and democracies. Education plays a crucial role in combating this phenomenon.
