Request for proposal
UNESCO is inviting written proposals from Civil Engineers/construction specialists/architects/equivalent for the security gate work assignment described in attachment A.
To enable you to prepare a proposal for this assignment, please find attached the following documents:
- Terms of Reference (see attachment A)
- UNESCO’s contract for Individual Consultants or Contract for Services, the contracting modality used for these assignments (attachment B)
- Background material concerning the security gate work assignment (attachment C)
You are required to provide:
- Technical Proposal consisting of an approach and methodology for the assignment, a workplan and comments on the Terms of Reference if any (in brief).
- Bidders are required to make their own detailed assessment of the time, work methods and activities that shall be required for the successful and timely completion of the works, and shall submit their proposal on the basis of an assurance that the works can be completed by the Time for Completion and the Milestone Dates identified in the Terms of Reference.
- The key personnel that the bidder proposes for the design and built security gate work, the qualifications and relevant experience of each of the key personnel including a CV/resume for each of the key personnel.
- The copy of the representative who is authorized to sign the Contract.
Construction Portfolio showing evidence of previous security gate work during the last 5 years. The reference work should include total cost, duration and role.
The amount to be charged for the assignment, which should be quoted in Indian Rupees only.
The proposal and all supporting documents must be in English.
Your proposal should be submitted by e-mail at g.sagar@unesco.org, no later than close of business (18:00 hrs) on 21 July 2023. E-mail proposals should not exceed 10 MB.
