REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ)
UNESCO invites qualified organizations and institutions to submit cost proposals for providing logistical support for two workshops. This workshop is part of the project entitled 鈥Strengthening Community Engagement for Biodiversity Conservation in the Kanchenjunga Conservation Area鈥. The workshop is a capacity-building and hands-on training session to be conducted in Lelep, Taplejung, focusing on biodiversity conservation using scientific tools and targeting local communities, including women and girls, school students, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
WORK EXPERIENCE
An organization or institution of minimum 5 years of relevant experience in working with communities, coordinating activities and organizing workshops on the ground. Experience working with indigenous peoples and local community of Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA) Taplejung.
Criteria
- Legally registered organization/Institution based in Koshi Province, Nepal. Government institution is preferred.
- Strong network and experience of working with the indigenous peoples and local community of Kanchenjunga Conservation Area (KCA) Taplejung.
- Capacity to provide logistical support to organize a workshop in Lelep and another in Pungling, Taplejung.

Qualified organizations, or institutions that meet the specified criteria may request the detailed Terms of Reference (ToR) and Financial Template by emailing at s.khanal@unesco.org.
The deadline for submitting the cost proposal is 21 June 2025, by 17:00 Nepal Time.
