UNESCO to deliver learning sessions on the use of data in education and human mobility

With the goal of strengthening the available evidence on education and human mobility, and enhancing technical capacity to integrate data on people in situations of mobility into national education information and management systems (SIGED), four online learning sessions will be held between August and September this year. These 鈥淟earning Sessions: Education, Human Mobility, and Data-Based Evidence鈥 are organised by UNESCO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean.
The workshops will provide participants with a space to engage in dialogue and exchange experiences, leveraging existing knowledge and discussing its practical application in national and regional contexts. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the initiatives and studies carried out by UNESCO, the Regional Education Group for Latin America and the Caribbean (GRE-LAC), and other regional partners, focusing on the educational inclusion of people in situations of mobility.
The sessions are aimed at policymakers in education, officials from regional Ministries of Education, government agencies working to protect the rights of people in mobility situations, education professionals, researchers and academics, as well as representatives from non-governmental and international organisations.
Each session will last an hour and a half.
