UNESCO Green Citizens at ChangeNOW 2023
The UNESCO Green Citizens initiative is excited to announce that our little team will be present at the ChangeNOW summit again this year, taking place from 25-27 May! Through this event, we aim to raise awareness about UNESCO Green Citizens and all the inspiring, innovative and duplicable citizen-led projects that it highlights.
Many UNESCO Green Citizens project owners will also take part in the event in different capacities. On Friday 26th May, Vanessa Nakate (Vash Green Schools project) will take the floor during a talk entitled "Climate Justice: Loss & Damage", and Titouan Bernicot (Coral Gardeners) will be speaking at the talk 鈥淥cean: Making the invisible visible鈥.
Meanwhile, the UNESCO Green Citizens projects Energy Observer Solutions, Meli Network, Saathi and 2tonnes will have stands at the event to exhibit their projects. We will have a stand in the Earth Village, so if you are there, come and find us!
