UNESCO looks for a creative partner to develop the 2022 World Press Freedom Day global campaign

UNESCO is looking for creative agencies, PR, marketing and related companies to develop and execute the 2022 World Press Freedom Day global awareness raising campaign.

Deadline to receive proposals now extended to 17 January 2022

The campaign will be launched ahead of 3 May and should be linked to World Press Freedom Day 2022 theme 鈥淛ournalism under Surveillance鈥, which will focus on digital challenges in relation to media and press freedom.  (PDF).

World Press Freedom Day celebrates the fundamental principles of press freedom, to evaluate press freedom around the world, to defend the media from attacks on their independence and to pay tribute to journalists who have lost their lives in the exercise of their profession. The campaign should mobilize and leading journalists, experts, influencers, and activists around the world, who disseminate the campaign across different media and social media outlets.  (PDF).
