The °ä³Ü°ù²¹Ã§²¹´Ç Memory of the World Committee operates within the framework and objectives specified in the Memory of the World General Guidelines and has the following specific functions: 

1. to advise the °ä³Ü°ù²¹Ã§²¹´Ç National Commission for UNESCO; 
2. to implement the guidelines of the Programme and the Recommendation approved in 2015 regarding the preservation of documentary heritage including in digital form; 
3. to promote and divulge the Memory of the World Programme in °ä³Ü°ù²¹Ã§²¹´Ç, as well as promote national projects related to Memory of the World and explore resources to implement them;
4. to create, divulge and promote the National Register of Memory of the World in °ä³Ü°ù²¹Ã§²¹´Ç and monitor the national, regional and international inscriptions of °ä³Ü°ù²¹Ã§²¹´Ç and where applicable, in collaboration with the National Committees in other parts of the Dutch Caribbean.
5. to promote nominations of documentary heritage on the National, Regional and International Register of Memory of the World and undertake capacity building workshops and training sessions on Memory of the World and awareness raising activities.
