Adeline Hulin is head of unit for Media and Information Literacy and Digital Competencies at UNESCO Headquarters. She previously worked as the global coordinator for the UNESCO Project Social Media 4 Peace that aims at curbing online harmful content on social media while promoting freedom of expression in conflict prone environment. She was based in the UNESCO Liaison Office in Brussels where she was also in charge of the partnership with EU Institutions in relation to Freedom of Expression and digital issues. She previously worked for the Office of the OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media in Vienna where she was among others responsible for programs promoting media self-regulation and ethical standards. Her educational background includes a PhD in Political Science from the University Paris II Panthéon Assas, a Master Degree in Journalism from the University Paris Dauphine and a BA in Political Science from the Bordeaux Institut d’Etudes Politiques.

María Paulina Baena is a Colombian journalist and political scientist. She was co-creator and presenter of La Pulla, an opinion program of the newspaper El Espectador that today has 1.38 million subscribers on YouTube. She was the winner of the Simón Bolívar Prize for Journalism and listed as one of the five best young journalists in the world by the One Young World organization in England. She acted in the play “Ya que hps,” a bet on stage journalism that told cruel and pathetic realities of Colombia in the middle of the electoral season. Summer Harlow is the associate director of the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas and a visiting professor at the University of Texas at Austin. A former journalist, her research examines the intersections of journalism, activism and technology, particularly in Latin America and the Global South. She is the author of Digital Native News and the Remaking of Latin American Mainstream and Alternative Journalism (Routledge, 2023) and Liberation Technology in El Salvador: Re-appropriating Social Media among Alternative Media Projects (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2017).

Cynthia Madanat Sharaiha is an award-winning Jordanian director with a deep passion for storytelling. After working with international NGOs on human rights advocacy, development and environmental projects, and conflict resolution initiatives, she transitioned to the film industry in 1998. Alongside her husband, Shadi Sharaiha, Cynthia co-founded Digitales, a digital content and animation studio that has produced acclaimed children's and family content, animation series, and films.

Her directorial debut, the short film Noor, won the Franco Arab Film Festival Award in 2016. Cynthia was named one of Screen International's “5 Arab Stars of Tomorrow” in 2023 and received the “Inspiring Change Through the Digital World – SheTechs” award in 2022. She also earned the Best Feature Director award for her film “Saleem” at the Chicago Women Film Fest.

Cynthia’s work focuses on Social Impact Entertainment, as she directs the award-winning popular 2D animation series “Our Family Life,” which has over 2.8 million subscribers and around 1 billion views on its YouTube channels. In addition, she directed her company’s award-winning feature film “Saleem”, Jordan’s first 3D animation feature, and the children's mental health project “Amal For Children.” On May 26, 2024, Cynthia and her husband, Co-founder and Executive Producer, Shadi Sharaiha, received the Order of King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein II for Excellence, on the occasion of Jordan’s Independence Day. The order was bestowed upon the production team of the film "Saleem" by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein.
