H.E. Dr. Zaid Nawaiseh, Secretary General of the Ministry of Government Communication, Jordan
Dr. Zaid Nawaiseh is the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Government Communication since December 2022. Dr. Nawaiseh holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Islamic Sciences University and has a distinguished career in both public and private sectors. His previous roles include Advisor to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply, as well as Head of a Supervisory Group at the Central Bank of Jordan. In addition to his academic experience as a professor at various universities, Dr. Nawaiseh has held leadership positions in the insurance industry and other private sector organizations.
Dr. Nawaiseh is an active member of several national committees and has been honored with Jordan’s Centennial Medal for his contributions to public service. Alongside his administrative duties, Dr. Nawaiseh is a recognized media columnist and political analyst.

Misthy Sablok is the Programme Manager at DataLEADS, leading FactShala, India’s largest media literacy initiative. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to combat misinformation and promote critical thinking within communities. She works towards helping individuals identify biases and fake news more effectively. With over a decade of experience in public relations and media management, she specializes in strategic communications and community engagement. Leveraging her extensive background in stakeholder engagement, she actively forges partnerships to broaden the impact of media literacy efforts and tackle the growing challenge of misinformation in the country.

Olha Kravchenko, Head of Filter project, Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, Ukraine
Olha Kravchenko is Head of Filter National Media Literacy project under the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. In 2018, Olha Kravchenko graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in Journalism. In 2020, she earned a master’s degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. During her student years, she worked as a journalist, including as a special correspondent at the National Public Broadcasting Company. After university, she worked as an analyst/coordinator of European projects at the NGO “Internews-Ukraine.” From January 2022 to September 2023, she served as the third secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Olha is a Chevening scholar and completed her degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Hania Bitar, Founder of Pyalara, Palestine
Hania Bitar is the founder and the director General of the Palestinian Youth Association for Leadership and Rights Activation- PYALARA and has been working as a Youth-rights advocate with and for Palestinian Youth since 1996. She started her professional career as a teacher of English language and literature at Bethlehem University. Then acted as the Business Manager of The Jerusalem Times weekly newspaper. In 2005, Bitar founded along with a number of Women Leaders, the International Women’s Commission for a Just and Sustainable Peace. She ran as a candidate for the Palestinian Legislative Council Elections within the "Third Way" national list. Currently, she serves as a member of the board of trustees of the Arab-American University of Jenin and a board member of a number of local Palestinian NGOs such as MIFTAH and WCLAC. Bitar is one the founding members of MILEN; media and information literacy expert network and a member of the Global Peacebuilders network. . Bitar was nominated a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” and “Young Arab Leader”. Bitar is the author of several articles and a keynote speaker at a number of national and international conferences.

Faisal Elbagir is a prominent Sudanese journalist and human rights defender. He is the founder and Coordinator General of Journalists for Human Rights – JHR- Sudan, an organization monitoring the freedom of expression and media, with special concern on the safety and protection of Journalists. He is the founder and CEO of Africa Initiative for Media Development and Journalists Safety. He is a PhD Candidate at the University of Nairobi (School of Journalism and Mass Communication). He is an advocate for human rights journalism and ethical journalism. He is the founder and Chief Editor of (Sudans Reporters).
