Alexandre Le Voci Sayad is a journalist, educator and writer. Master in Artificial Intelligence and Ethics from PUC-SP and specialist in digital business from the University of California - Berkeley. He is currently a PhD student in lifelong learning and AI policies. Sayad is also the director of ZeitGeist, an innovation hub in education, culture and media that develops global projects for companies, governments and the non-profit sector. He also works as a consultant in media and information literacy for the UNESCO Offices in Montevideo (Uruguay).

HRH Princess Rym Ali, Founder of Jordan Media Institute and President of Anna Lindh Foundation
Her Royal Highness Princess Rym Ali founded in 2007 the Jordan Media Institute (JMI), a non-profit institution whose aim is to establish an Arab center of excellence for journalism education with a Master’s program at its core and training-modules in parallel. She has also been a member of the Board of Commissioners of the Royal Film Commission - Jordan since July 2005. And she is the president of the Amman International Film Festival “AIFF” Awal Film since 2017. Prior to marrying HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, Princess Rym worked extensively for international broadcasters including CNN, where she began as a producer in 1998 and later worked as a Baghdad correspondent from 2001 until 2004. She had developed her portfolio working for the BBC, Dubai TV, Bloomberg TV, Radio Monte-Carlo Moyen-Orient, and United Press International-UPI.

Deema Abu Thiab, Head of Jordan Programme Office, UN-Habitat
Deema is an urban planner with over 20 years of experience. Since 2018, she has been managing the UN-Habitat programme in Jordan. Her work focuses on improving the living conditions of vulnerable populations, including local communities and refugees, and enhancing the capacities of national and local governments to address urban development challenges. This includes developing national and urban policies, creating the first urban planning regulation for Amman, localizing SDGs, supporting the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, improving access to safe and inclusive public spaces, and building community resilience to climate change and water-related challenges. Deema holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Spatial Planning.

Wallace Gichunge, Founder, Centre for Media & Information Literacy, Kenya
Wallace Gichunge is the Founder and Executive Director of Nairobi-based Centre for Media and Information Literacy - Kenya. He is a media and communications expert with over 17 years of practice. He’s the holder of degrees in Education (Bachelor’s, Kenyatta University) and Communications (M.A., University of Nairobi, Kenya). A consulting editor and technical writer, Mr. Gichunge has also taught Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations in Universities and government institutes in Kenya. He is also a researcher and facilitator on media and information literacy for UNESCO, DW Akademie and Africa Union Commission, among other organisations. Mr. Gichunge is also the curator, Africa Media Literacy Council (AMLC) and a member the UNESCO Africa MIL Alliance Committee. His interests are in media and information literacy and its application in digital communications, democracy, climate information and governance.
