Meet Apio Sharon Ibedo a dedicated educator at Bukalasa Agricultural College in Uganda who has benefitted from UNESCOs Better Education for Africas Rise BEAR II project funded by the Republic of Korea The project equipped her with the skills and tools necessary to empower female students and advocate for gender equality in her country Through her active collaboration with the private sector she has significantly enhanced the relevance of education and prepared students for economic independence Her story shows the impact of innovative teaching techniques and advocacy initiatives

The Latin American Laboratory for the Assessment of the Quality of Education LLECE of UNESCO presented in Ecuador the results of the measurement of socioemotional skills in students from the MYRP Programme Additionally future collaborations in educational assessment were discussed and results from the ERCE Schools pilot project were shared
