UNESCO Survey on Public Access to Information (SDG Indicator 16.10.2)
In line with its role as the UN custodian agency for Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Indicator 16.10.2 (which looks at “the number of countries that have adopted and implemented constitutional, statutory and/or policy guarantees for public access to Information."), UNESCO monitors and reports progress on this indicator worldwide. Annually, UNESCO conducts the Survey on Public Access to Information. Its objective is to collect global data on the adoption of legal guarantees on Access to Information, as well as the main tendencies in the implementation of these guarantees.
