V- Dem Data Set
The V-Dem project includes the world's most comprehensive democracy ratings. V-Dem has developed innovative methods for aggregating expert judgments in a way that produces valid and reliable estimates of difficult-to-observe concepts. It collects data regarding multiple electoral and democracy indicators (some going back to 1789), including press freedom indicators.
