Global Media and Information Literacy Week 2024
This year鈥檚 Global Media and Information Literacy Week will be celebrated worldwide from 24-31 October 2024, culminating in a global conference hosted by UNESCO and the Hashemite Kingdom in Amman, Jordan on 30-31 October.
This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淭he New Digital Frontiers of Information: Media and Information Literacy for Public Interest Information鈥.
For the occasion, UNESCO reconvenes the Youth Multimedia Room with 15 Jordanian students.
World Press Freedom Day 2024
Between May 2 and 4, Chile and UNESCO will host the 31st World Press Freedom Day Conference dedicated to the importance of journalism and freedom of expression in the context of the current global environmental crisis.
For the occasion, 27 young journalism students, climate activists and digital content creators will take part in the Youth Multimedia Room.
