I am a Fellow Expert at the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIRO) and the Institute Sultan Iskandar, UTM. I lead and contribute to national policies and strategic initiatives, including the National AI Roadmap, STI and Innovation Policies, Environmental Master Plans, Commercialization Policy, Technopreneurship Policy, National Higher Education Action Plans, and the International Science and Technology Master Plan (ISTIC). I head the Working Group on AI Governance under Malaysia¡¯s National Blockchain and AI Roadmap (2021¨C2025). Internationally, I serve as Chair, STEPAN network and Technical Committee Member for ISO/IEC AI standards. I hold a PhD from the University of Manchester.
