Data Rights

Overview of the organization
At Data Rights, we believe that individuals should not have to trade their privacy and autonomy in exchange for digital services. We refuse data silos as the Internet’s business model. We challenge powerful players where their actions undermine cybersecurity, the rule of law, and fundamental rights. We aim to empower users and communities to ensure they control how their data is used.
Project and activity overview
Data Rights just raised seed funding so projects are in the making. That said, we are particularly interested by the threat posed by AI in cybersecurity attacks and weapons. More importantly, one of the 5 programmatic pillars of data rights is the regulation of dual use tech, and AI is a fundamental one.
