She was visiting professor at Westminster University and Glasgow University. She founded and directed the interdepartmental technology innovation center ICxT for technology transfer. She is now director of the AI and BigData Lab and Vicedirector of DISH a LAB on technology and culture She was Minister of Technological Innovation and Digitisation of the Italian Republic during the Conte II government, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and to the Minister of Public Function in the Draghi government, and Councillor for Innovation and Smart City of the City of Turin under the Appendino administration. She worked in Italy and abroad in consultancy companies on technological transformation projects for companies in various sectors (banking, pharmaceuticals, publishing, fashion).
