I am a researcher and feminist whose work is focused on incorporating participatory mechanisms in the development and deployment of AI. This includes engaging with a wide range of stakeholders such as journalists, technologists and developers etc to advocate for AI regulations which protect and benefit the public. I am currently a Senior Tech Policy Fellow at the Mozilla Foundation pursuing an independent project critically looking at the participatory governance frameworks applied in the conservation sector with the intent of applying them to the governance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and broader technologies.
