UNESCO, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA) and the GEM Report will co-host a webinar to discuss the latest evidence on how sexuality education is designed and delivered in different education systems based on 50 new country GEM Report .

The aim of the event is to explore the new country profiles to better understand the status of sexuality education around the world. Discussions will extract lessons from countries whose promising practices are empowering young people to make informed decisions about their futures. The event will also demonstrate the way that the new PEER country profiles on sexuality education can help provide a better understanding of the progress towards achieving target SDG 4.7.2 related to the implementation of life skills-based HIV and sexuality education in all schools.

The event will feature the voices of ministers of education, development partners and advocates discussing the different approaches to sexuality education based on the trends emerging from the new PEER profiles.
