The project, implemented in partnership with the National Commission on Culture, seeks to provide required knowledge for artists within the performing and visual arts domains across the country on existing relevant policies and legal frameworks governing the culture and creative space in the country and beyond. It will develop and implement a comprehensive training programme that empowers artists to cultivate cultural, policy and legal understanding underlining their craft. Emerging artists will also be included in the consultation processes leading to new reforms and regulatory frameworks—and in particular the revision of the country’s National Cultural Policy.
