Achieving our Goal: Realising an Explicit Culture Goal in the post-2030 Development Framework

15 November 2023
12:00 - 12:50 in the Partnerships Hub (Halle Saxe)

The NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee has the pleasure of presenting this event as part of our programme of NGO-focused events in the Partnership Hub. Each event is presented by a coalition of NGOs on the theme of effective partnership with civil society.

The Culture 2030 Goal Campaign has been working since the launch of Agenda 2030 to advocate both for recognition of the transversal impact of culture across the Sustainable Development Goals, but also for the establishment of culture as a goal in its own right. Representatives from the Campaign’s International Steering Committee, who represent NGOs working on cultural issues with a large international reach and a leadership role in our fields, will present the Zero-draft, invite feedback, and propose next steps. Interaction with the audience is encouraged, as the Campaign welcomes feedback and ideas from UNESCO’s network of member states and NGO partner.

This session will be conducted in English.
