In September 2018, an ancient engraved marble column in the Attic style was repatriated to Greece. The column dates from 340 BC and comes from an ancient cemetery in Attica.

The Greek Ministry of Culture and Sport has taken all the necessary steps in support of its request, based on information provided by the criminal prosecution authorities and in cooperation with the judicial authorities. The column was handed over by the auction house to the London Metropolitan Police for return to Greece.
