On 5 October 2022, Cabo Verde deposited with the Director-General its instrument of accession to the Revised Convention on the Recognition of Studies, Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Other Academic Qualifications in Higher Education in African States (Addis Ababa, 12 December 2014).

In accordance with the terms of its Article V.2, the aforementioned Convention will enter into force with respect to Cabo Verde one month after the date of deposit of its instrument, that is to say on 5 November 2022.
