Creative Travel to Japan 2025

The central theme is the calming spirit of “Wa = Harmony” whose Japanese origin can be found in Nara, a Prefecture which has had an immense influence on the development of Japanese culture.
The exhibition showcases the Cultural Tourism of Nara Prefecture, some of Japan’s leading traditionally creative crafts: Ikenobo: the Art of Flower Arrangement; Urasenke: the ancient Tea Ceremony; and Traditional Sake Brewing, recently inscribed as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The exhibition also presents more than 200 artworks by Japanese artists in a variety of traditional and modern forms of artistic expression centered around the themes of ‘Harmony’ and ‘Peace of Mind’.
