Discover our work in action

With only five years remaining to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, our collective efforts are more crucial than ever in strengthening education systems to be more resilient and future-ready.
Over the past two years, IIEP has collaborated with ministries of education and partners across the globe to shape and implement key planning and management documents that will secure quality and inclusive education for generations to come.
Our latest activity report, , offers an inside look at how we develop the capacities of planners, policy-makers, and other education partners in designing, implementing, and monitoring educational plans and policies.

From education sector analyses and plans to monitoring and evaluation frameworks, these national documents lay the foundation for more equitable, resilient, and transparent education systems.
Our focus is clear: to build education systems that are gender-equitable, inclusive, resilient, accountable, and innovative — laying the foundation for a more sustainable and just future.

From Cambodia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Ecuador to Jordan and Tanzania, the report illustrates how IIEP strengthens planning and management capacities through technical cooperation, knowledge generation and mobilization, and training to improve education service delivery.
Six strategic priorities
The report also presents examples of our projects, publications, and knowledge-sharing events, many implemented through strong partnerships, across six strategic priorities:
- Planning and management to improve learning
- Planning and management for equity and inclusion in education
- Promoting good governance and transparency in educational management and financing
- Enhancing digital technology to transform education
- Planning and management for resilience during crises, climate change, and natural hazards
- Ensuring skills for the future and the transition to work.
