The DRC has its National Report on Artificial Intelligence Readiness (RAM)

Dr. Isaias Barreto da Rosa reiterated UNESCO's support for the DRC's digital transformation policy, particularly the introduction of artificial intelligence.
Additionally, he congratulated His Excellency the Minister of Posts, Telecommunications, and Digital Affairs for the excellent work carried out by his colleagues, under the supervision of two experts and UNESCO's technical expertise.

The Minister Augustin Kibassa Maliba, welcomed this RAM Report as the result of collaboration between various stakeholders.

Finally, he confirmed his availability to attend the validation workshop for the report, which will be organized in June 2025.

It is worth noting that the National Report on the DRC's Artificial Intelligence Readiness, technically validated in April 2025, aims to strengthen the DRC government's commitment to implementing AI ethics standards, particularly UNESCO's recommendation on AI ethics.
