In parallel of the , UNESCO is encouraging  people to take part in global efforts to promote Education for Sustainable Development in the month of May.

empowers learners of all ages with knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to be change-makers ready for the challenges of today and the future. The World Conference on Education for Sustainable Development is a platform for urgent global commitment to ESD for 2030, the global framework for this new decade of Education for Sustainable Development, for the promotion of transformative education and for international conversation on the future of education for people and the planet.

Although the Conference is limited to invited participants, it will be livestreaming the following key sessions on YouTube so people around the world can follow along, learn more about ESD and be part of the conversation on #ESDfor2030 and the . Stay connected to the sessions by .
