Established in 1987, the China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe has toured over 100 countries across five continents. It participated in the closing ceremony of the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games, as well as the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games and the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympic Games. 

This event at the UNESCO Headquarters will feature 40 exceptionally talented artists with disabilities notably performing the magnificent large-scale music and dance poem My Dream, showcasing the achievements and charm of this unique art form. These artists reveal light in the midst of darkness, hear sound and rhythm in silence, and pursue perfection of their art with unwavering determination despite the challenges they face, turning the impossible into the possible and creating miracles of life, offering the world a message of the beauty of civilizations.
