The sustainable use and planning of geothermal resources
The 2014 WWDR theme, nicely harmonized with the one of the World Water Day, is Water and Energy. As from now and throughout all of year 2014, WWAP will organize a series of seminars focused on water and energy and on the inter-linkages between these domains.
鈥淭he sustainable use and planning of geothermal recourses鈥 is the title of the first meeting WWAP organized within this framework and in collaboration with the Umbrian Region. The conference took place on 22 October at the WWAP premises and aimed to gather representatives from the research community, the private sector, local governments and universities, to explore and discuss the appropriate and sustainable use of geothermal resources through friendly environmentally technologies.
